1404810 Component assemblies; retractive switches INVENTIO AG 13 Dec 1972 [14 Dec 1971] 57454/72 Headings H1R and H1N An electrical assembly comprises an elongate U-shaped housing of, e.g. metal or synthetic plastic with side limbs 1À1 and 1.2 and unitary connecting member 1.3 forming a first plate with projecting edges; the housing being inserted in an aperture of a main assemby 17. Electrical sub-assemblies 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 are pushed into the housing from the rear to rest on sidewalls 1.1, 1.2 retained by spring 8 notching into interior grooves 9. Sub-assembly 2 is a printed circuit 2.1 with a luminous pushbutton switch 10, contact carriers 11, and screwless connecting terminals 12 therein; the switch button protruding through an opening of the front plate and being translucent to the light of indicator lamp 10.2; the components being interconnected over the printed circuit paths and switch bridge 10.3 being engageable with contacts 13 after disengagement with contacts 11. Sub-assembly 3 is a printed circuit 3.1 with indicator lamp 14 and reflector 15 visible through translucent cover 16 and interconnected over the printed circuit paths with sorewless terminals 12. The sub-assemblies 4, 5, 6, 7 comprise assemblies of, e.g. resistors, diodes, transistors (not shown) interconnected with screwless terminals 12; the latter being interconnected at will by plug in jumpers (not shown). The complete assembly may constitute a lift floor indicator inserted in a wall or door post, and may be protected by a hood pushed on from the rear.
