Abstract
1403884 Magnetic catches HARLEY PATENTS (INTERNATIONAL) LTD 19 Sept 1972 [20 Sept 1971] 43647/71 Heading E2A A connector comprises a body 10 to which a pivoted catch 18 is retained in retaining position by a keeper 30 insertable in the body and retained by a magnet or the body. The body comprises spaced plates 11 having aligned slots 25 which can be closed by a limb 19 of the catch 18 when pivoted to retaining position against the action of a spring 26 by the insertion of the magnetic keeper 30 into the body so that it abuts a lug 38 of a magnetic stamping 33 to which the magnet in the form of a disc 32 is attached. For attaching the connector to a strap a slotted plate 50 is secured between the plates 11.
