Abstract

1401668 Sample tube device F HOFFMANN-LA ROCHE & CO AG 16 June 1972 [24 June 1971] 28381/72 Heading G1B A sample tube device comprises, Fig. 11 a receptacle for receiving a test tube, panel means 211 connected to the receptacle and capable of receiving an information support which is punched (as is card 230) and/or marked and/or comprises magnetic means for providing information, means for positioning the information support on the panel means and detachable means both for fixing the information support to the panel means and for fixing a test tube into the receptacle. The positioning means may comprise stud 221 and lug 216 on the panel means for co-operation with holes (259, 260) in Fig. 10, (not shown), in an information support card. The detachable means may comprise Fig. 9 a clip having hole 233 for co-operation with stud 221 on the panel means, lugs 235 to 238 to pass through perforations on the card and engage with wedge-shaped formations on the outer edges of panel means 211 and also tongues 240, 241 to bear against a test tube placed in the receptacle to fix the tube in the receptacle. The device may also comprise a removable auxiliary tube device A Fig. 11.
