1401580 Tube mills CHRISTIAN PFEIFFER 10 Sept 1973 [16 Sept 1972] 42443/73 Heading B2A A tube mill lining is made up of abutting arcuate plates which form a circular hoop. The circumferential length of a plate >100# mm. The radial height of the abutting faces of the plate > the axial length of the plate. Individual hoops are offset relative to their neighbours. The plates may have a lifter type profile Fig. 1, a humped profile Fig. 3 or be stepped Figs. 5, 6.
