Abstract

1401223 Sealing strips REHAU PLASTIKS GmbH 13 July 1972 [14 July 1971] 32915/72 Heading E1J An edge trim-strip comprises an insert in a plastics casing, the insert having transverse strips 2 connected by longitudinal webs 3, the material of the insert and shape of the webs resulting in fracture of the webs when the strip is bent. The insert is punched from a steel strip, sprayed with plastics and bent to U-shape. The fracture takes place on bending of the strip to the U-shape or on fitting of the strip along a curved edge.
