Abstract

1400302 Dispensing packages MARDON SON & HALL Ltd 1 Feb 1973 [2 Feb 1972] 4912/72 Heading B8C A package comprises an inner container having an outer covering of flexible material divisible along a tear-line into a first portion, which is detachable at least in part to provide access to the contents, and a second portion which is adapted to remain with the inner container to prevent accidental escape of the contents. As shown, the inner container which is formed from a blank to provide a base 10 with flaps 14, a rear wall 11, a front panel 12 with flaps 15 and opposing side panels 13, is top loaded with tissues 18 and is then covered with an overwrap of plastics film 20 which forms the top and completes a side wall above the panel 12 of the container. A tear strip 21 allows the upper part of the overwrap to be removed or hinged back for access to the contents. In a modification, the panel 12 and flaps 15 are omitted. The outer covering may be of aluminium foil.
