Abstract

1498797 Fixing strap for decking OTTO ZAMBELLI PTY Ltd 26 March 1975 [29 April 1974] 18735/74 Headings E1K and E1W [Also in Division F2] A sheet of decking material .14 in combination with a fixing strap 6, comprises a decking sheet having a plurality of longitudinally extending ribs 19, one of the ribs 21 being at the edge of the sheet and including a hooked portion 13 within the rib 21, and a fixing strap 6 including: a) a body portion 6; b) at one end of the body portion 6 a spacer portion 9, which extends within the rib 21 at the edge of the sheet 14, and a hooked portion 12 which engages the hooked portion 13 within the rib 21; and c) a clip portion 18 at the other end of the body portion 6 of complimentary shape to the inner wall of a centrally positioned rib 19. The strap is formed from a strip of metal bent to shape.
