Abstract

1497393 Supply systems for aquaria H N JERRARD and D C W JERRARD [trading as ARCADIA ENG CO] 31 Oct 1974 [2 Nov 1973] 51030/73 Heading H2H An electrical device, more particularly for a fish aquarium, comprises a first power supply, controllable by a switch 26, connected to a choke 20 and a starter switch assembly 21, 22, 23 for a fluorescent light and a second power supply, controllable by a switch 26, connected to a liquid filtration unit. The choke 20, starter switch assembly 21, 22, 23, the switches 26, 26<SP>1</SP> and a terminal block 30 are mounted on a base-plate 10 having upturned flanges 11 and ends 12 which co-operates with a lid 14 to form a housing for the circuit elements whilst the liquid filtration unit is contained in the fish tank, the housing being provided with a wire hanger 15 for hanging the device on the aquarium.
