Abstract

1493564 Luffing arm apparatus AGRICULTURAL DISTRIBUTORS Ltd 15 April 1976 [16 April 1975] 15747/76 Heading B8H [Also in Division Al] A hopper 5 and a spreader 4 are supported on an arm assembly 6, 7, 8 from the hydraulically operated lift links 2, 3 of a tractor; also mounted on the links 2, 3 and pivotally connected to the arm 8 at 12 is a ram-operated mast 9, 10 which is used to lift fertilizer sack 13 &c. over the hopper. The sack 13 is lifted on a line 15 by means of the mast 9, 10 with the lift links 2, 3 lowered; then with the line engaged by a hook 16 the lift links are raised so that the sack 13, when lowered by the mast 9, 10 is over the hopper.
