1492692 Casting processes HAYES SHELLCAST (DEVELOPMENTS) Ltd 16 Jan 1975 1893/75 Heading B3F [Also in Division C7] A sachet for insertion into a mould when casting cast iron is formed from two layers of plastics coated paper (e.g. polythene lined low ash paper) heat sealed together to form an enclosure which contains ferrosilicon powder. Strings of interconnected sachets may be produced (Fig. 3, not shown).
