Channels in springs.-In a back-axle connexion for motor-vehicle springs comprising a member f and a U clip g, the bearing surfaces of the members f, g are circumferentially grooved at f<2>, g<2>, and registering oil-holes k are formed in the casing whereby oil, supplied internally from the differential gear-box, is distributed to the bearing surfaces. The oil-distribution may be assisted by providing a collar m on the axle b<3>. Specification 21914/13, [Class 108 (iii), Springs &c.], is referred to.
