Abstract

A novel herbicidally active pyrazolium salt of the formula I below, in which D1 and D2 are identical or different low alkyl radicals, and a) C is the radical R, where R is hydrogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy or halogen, and A and B are Z, where Z corresponds to a phenyl radical which is substituted by the radical R; b) B is lower alkyl, halogen or lower alkoxy if A and C are Z; or c) C and B are the radical R if A is Z; or d) A, B and C are simultaneously identical or different halogens, is present as the active component in herbicidal agents (herbicides). The agents are distinguished by high selectivity and can be used for controlling undesired vegetative growth. To this end, these agents are applied to the plants or to the soil. <IMAGE>
