Abstract

1484460 Food cutting boards FORMULA HOUSING RESEARCH Ltd 21 Oct 1974 [17 Jan 1974] 02258/74 Heading A4C A food cutting, chopping and slicing board 1 has opposed surfaces formed with connecting frustoconical recesses, nuts 6 being located in the recesses made in one surface and flush with that surface for locating either feet 3 or plugs Fig. 4 (not shown) which occupy the recesses in the other surface. The nuts connect with the feet or plugs by bolts 5 embedded within the latter. Channels 7 of angular or curved section may be formed in either or both surfaces and a protecting cover 8 snap fits into an edge recess 9 or apex Fig. 2 (not shown), the cover being used to support hot dishes. A pouring lip may extend from the channel(s) and the components of the board be made from moulded plastics.
