Abstract

1483272 Windscreen wipers DUCELLIER ET CIE 27 March 1975 [18 April 1974] 12884/ 75 Heading A4F A windscreen wiper blade assembly comprises a rubber wiper element 1, through which extends a resilient pressure distributing core 2, e.g. of metal or plastics, and yokes (3), Fig. 1 (not shown) having claws (4) gripping the rear 1a of the element 1 to connect it to a wiper arm, the yokes being retained on the wiper element 1 and relative movement between the core 2 and element 1 being prevented by stops 5 at the ends of the element 1, each stop 5 comprising an abutment member 9 having, projecting perpendicularly from a surface thereof, a lug 8, e.g. of T-shape, which fits into one of two similarly shaped recesses 10 formed one in each end of the core 2. The engagement at each end is effected after pushing back an end of the element 1 to expose a recess 10 and then restoring the element 1 to its original condition to cover the engaged portions.
