1482623 Skid rails for furnaces MORGAN REFRACTORIES Ltd 2 Sept 1974 [14 Aug 1973] 38462/73 Heading F4B A refractory sheath for furnace skid rails or pipes comprises half-collar tiles 1 and 2 with lower sections 5 and 6 formed with L-shaped flanges 7 and 8 held by a clamp 9. An additional double swallow tail key 10 fits in corresponding recesses 11 and 12. The ends of the tiles have interfitting rebates 13 and 14. The tiles may be made of mullite blended with clay and may be used around fibrous refractory members.
