Abstract

1481149 Pneumatic actuators HONEYWELL GmbH 31 Oct 1975 [12 Nov 1974] 45283/75 Heading F1D In the pneumatic actuator shown, Fig. 1, a diaphragm 3 is biased by springs 26a and gas-pressure in a chamber 28a and control pressure is supplied to a chamber 28b through a port 15b. The ends 29 of mounting bars 9 and the end 27 of the pistonrod act as adjustable end-stops. Indicator means 12, 13 are provided. If control pressure fails, the springs 26a and gas-pressure in chamber 28a return the piston. As described, a valve is opened when control pressure is admitted to the chamber 28b.
