Abstract

1479789 Heat fixing toner images XEROX CORP 21 Oct 1975 [10 Jan 1975] 43157/75 Heading G2H A pad 12 containing a powdered polyolefin, e.g. a polyethylene wax, is pressed against a heated fuser roll 10 of an apparatus for heat fusing toner images 17 to copy sheets 16, the polyolefin being fusible at the temperature of the heated roll 10. The roll 10 may be formed of metal with a polytetrafluoroethylene layer 21 on its surface.
