1479012 Adjustment device for agricultural machines A P LAURSEN AS 19 June 1974 [20 June 1973] 27077/74 Heading AID [Also in Division F2] An adjustment device for centrifugal spreaders or other agricultural machines comprises an adjustment lever 1 for attaching, via a connecting rod 6, to a spreader member which is to be adjusted, a spring biased pin 12 mounted transversely on the lever 1 by a handle 9, and at least one pre-adjustable locking member 14 having a notch 15 and mounted on a quadrant 13 whereby a clockwise movement (as seen in Figure 1) of the lever 1 moves the pin 12 longitudinally of the lever 1 along facing slots 7 of the lever 1 against the compression spring (10) Fig. 4 (not shown) as the portion of the pin 12, which extends out of at least one of the slots 7 (Fig. 2). slides along an arm 18' of the member 14 and further movement places the pin 12 into the notch 15 within which it is urged by the spring (10). The locking member 14 is displaceable along the quadrant 13. One or more fixed further locking members 24 are disposed on the quadrant 13. The locking member 14 may be located with its apex on the other side of the quadrant 13 facing away from an axis defined by an axle journal 3 and about which axis the lever 1 rotates. In this case the spring 10 will push the pin 12 in the opposite direction. The handle 9 may be displaced exteriorly of the lever 1 instead of being telescopically movable therein. The connecting rod 6 may be modified so as to undergo a substantially vertical movement instead of a horizontal one as shown, or may be pivoted to a portion of the lever 1 above a bushing 2 and not as shown (see Fig. 2).
