1475993 Auxiliary animal door C HARPER 25 April 1975 [26 Jan 1974] 35731/73 Heading E1J An animal access door has a door leaf 7 with a flexible strip 9 at the bottom and a lead counterweight 12 at the top, and is suspended by the pivots 10, 11. The pivot 11 is rigidly attached to a pulley wheel 13 connected by a band to a slider 14. The slider has a magnetic latch comprising a magnet 16 and a keeper 17 which is loosely and resiliently attached to the frame. The pulley slider and latch are housed in the vertical channel 6.
