Optical-projection apparatus.-A combination of two parallel mirrors inclined at 45 degrees receives and reflects images cast by a projector on a translucent screen cut off from light interference by enclosure in a dark chamber. In the constructions of Fig. 1, the kinematograph or lantern 1 projects through the dark chamber 2 on to the translucent screen 3 whence the image is reflected by mirrors 4, 5 and rendered visible to spectators in a building or in the open air. Two side walls may be provided between the screen and the mirrors 4 to prevent access of outside light.
