Abstract

1473891 Moulding golf clubs T C STEELE 20 May 1975 [28 May 1974 10 July 1974] 23499/74 and 30499/74 Heading B5A [Also in Division A6] A mould for manufacturing a golf club head, see Heading A6D, comprises a die half 51, which is secured to a fixed plate 53 and carries a core 54 having an injection passage 55 and, a movable die half 50 which carries a slider 50A guided by a pin 51A carried by the die half 51. The mould also includes a movable head 58 which carries a pin 56 arranged to seat in a recess 57 formed in the slider 50A; the pin 56 and the die halves 50, 51 being water cooled. An ejector unit 52 is also provided to free the product from the mould. The moulded member may be made of nylon, A.B.S., polycarbonates, highdensity polyethylene or polypropylene.
