Abstract

1472175 Drying photographic paper ILFORD Ltd 5 March 1975 [15 March 1974] 11592/74 Addition to 1369298 Heading F4G The method of drying polyethylene laminated base photographic paper bearing a silver or dye image, to produce a high degree of gloss, is as described in Specification No. 1,369,298, but is modified by applying the radiant heat for a time sufficient to cause any shallow indentation lines on the image side of the paper to disappear. In a specific embodiment in which the apparatus of Specification 1,369,298 is used, the paper is dried for 9 seconds.
