Abstract

1472171 Packages UNILEVER Ltd 24 April 1974 [27 April 1973] 20044/73 Heading B8C A package comprises an open end sleeve and at least one container having a downwardly extending peripheral flange 119 outwardly spaced from the container body, the sleeve being folded from a one-piece blank and having tongues struck from the side panels 116 on each side of the sleeve to extend upwardly between the flange and container body. The sleeve may be shorter than the container with flaps 123 being folded down from the top panel 105 to engage the base 120 and sides 122 of a recessed lid of the container. The sleeve may be the same length as a container with either the container sides being convexly curved and the flange extending outwardly from each side panel or the container being substantially rectangular and a pair of tongues on each side panel engaging respective radiussed corners of the flange. Two containers may be located in the sleeve. The flange may form part of the container or its lid.
