Abstract

1472004 Bags BREVETEAM SA 15 Jan 1975 [17 Jan 1974] 1691/75 Heading B8K A packaging bag for bread is made of film material, the walls of the bag having at least 500 slits per dm.<SP>2</SP>, each slit 4 having a length of 2-6 mm., and at least one of the lips 4, 6 of each slit being displaced perpendicularly to the plane of the film. The walls may be of polyethylene, polyethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer, or cellulose acetate. The films may be transparent and joined about three edges 1 by heat-sealing, adhesive, stitching, or stapling. In a particular example the walls have 4 mm. slits distributed at 750 slits/dm.<SP>2</SP>. The slits may be arranged as shown or slits in adjacent rows may be offset.
