Abstract

1470954 Mop wringers STRAIGHT JANE MOPS Ltd 21 Feb 1974 [2 March 1973] 10356/73 Heading A4F A bucket 1 incorporates a mop wringer attachment which comprises a guide structure fixed to the upper half of the bucket, a fixed element and a movable element on the guide structure, a pedal 26 pivoted to a fulcrum on the lower half of the peripheral wall of the bucket, a linkage connecting the movable element to the pedal 26 so that depression of the pedal 26 moves the movable element towards the fixed element against a spring bias, and a stabilizing foot which is attached to the bucket wall and is positioned directly underneath the pedal 26. As described the fixed and movable members are rollers 14 and 10 respectively, the linkage connecting roller 10 to the pedal 26 being a substantially S-shaped lever, the connection being effected via a pivot-pin 17 and a yoke 16.
