1470259 3,5-Dimethylbenzoic acid derivatives LABORATORIOS MADE SA 25 July 1974 32837/74 Heading C2C Novel compounds of formula where R 1 and R 2 are both methyl and X is O, S or NH; R 1 and R 2 are both ethyl and X is S; or R 1 and R 2 together with the nitrogen form a pyrrolidino or piperidino group and X is NH, are prepared by reacting with an active derivative of 3,5-dimethylbenzoic acid, e.g. the chloride or anhydride. The products have anti-ulcerogenic activity.
