Abstract

1469923 Load sensing MASSEY-FERGUSON SA 9 April 1974 [10 April 1973] 17240/73 Heading G1W A load sensing arrangement on a tractor comprises a draw-bar 10 mounted on the casing 11 of the tractor by bearings 12 so as to bend under the action of the load applied to it by draft-links 3, and a member 13 which moves in response to bending of the beam. The end of member 13 may act via a lever at 14 on the tractor casing on a control valve V which controls the height of the draft links. The member 13 may alternatively act on valve V via a lever 16 pivoted on a collar 15 on the end of bar 10. The movement of the end of the member 13 may be converted into an electrical control signal to control valve V.
