Abstract

1469819 Photographic processing POLAROID CORP 18 April 1974 [24 April 1973] 17050/74 Heading G2X Photographic apparatus e.g. a self-processing camera, for use with a container having film units 16 which each include a rupturable pod of a processing composition, a withdrawal slot for the units and means e.g. projections 78, mounted on a flexible wall portion of the container and controlling the distribution of the processing composition between the film unit layers, comprises a chamber for housing the container with means e.g. a convex portion 130, for engaging and deflecting the container wall carrying the projections 78 to move them towards and maintain them in engagement with, the film unit as it is advanced through the withdrawal slot. The engagement of the projections with the film unit ensures uniform distribution of the processing composition towards the lateral margins of the unit. Various forms of distribution control means are disclosed, see Figs. 7, 8 and 9 (not shown).
