Abstract
1469063 Dihalo - alkanoyl - [thio] - urethanes BAYER AG 6 Nov 1975 [6 Dec 1974 5 Aug 1975 16 Aug 1975] 42464/75 Heading C2C Dihalo-alkanoyl-[thio]-urethane of the formula in which R and R<SP>1</SP>, which may be the same or different, are hydrogen or alkyl, R<SP>11</SP> is substituted or unsubstituted aryl, benzyl or alkyl, Hal is chlorine or bromine, and X is oxygen or sulphur, are prepared by reacting 2,3-dihalo alkanoyl isocyanate of the general formula with a compound of the formula H-X-R<SP>11</SP>. The compounds of the invention have fungigicidal properties. Many examples are given with the preparation of the starting isocyanate compounds of Formula II.
