Abstract

1468569 Electric circuit-breakers BROWN BOVERI & CIE AG 29 Aug 1974 [6 Sept 1973 15 May 1974] 37813/74 Heading H1N An electric circuit-breaker of the kind described in Specifications 1,468,567 and 1,468,568 has a latch 6 normally retaining a switching lever 4 which can be pivoted about its end in engagement with the latch 4 by a manually operable member 2 and operates a movable contact member 9 biased to the contact open position by a spring 22 urging one end a further spring 17 against an abutment portion 19 of the movable contact member 9. The spring 17 is moved away from the abutment 19 by the link 8 when the lever 4 is operated as in Fig. 6.
