1468290 Awning and frame-work D RAU 10 Sept 1974 [11 Sept 1973] 39350/74 Heading E1J A frame-work for an awning or sun-blind comprises fixed mounting brackets 1, 2 in which support rods 12, 13 are clamped at a chosen angle. The lugs 6 fixed on the support rods carry the articulated linkages 4, 5 which bear the outer rod 10. The support rods 12, 13 are jointed together at their adjacent ends 14 by a swivel joint 15, which may take the form of a round rod set in bearings inside the hollow rods 12, 13 or a circular sleeve on bearings around the rods or a thrust bearing.
