Abstract

1468288 Structural joints E J PAGET and J S PAGET 15 Aug 1975 [5 Sept 1974] 38918/74 Heading F2M [Also in Division E1] A rectangular slat 1, preferably reinforced concrete, has at least one edge rabbetted to provide a longitudinally extending tongue 4 of half the thickness of the slab and a pair of spaced recesses 6 each having a width equal to or slightly greater than the thickness of the slabs. The slabs are assembled as shown in Fig. 6 to form a lining for a soakaway pit, a lid comprising a concrete slab with a pipe inlet being provided. The recesses 6 may be inclined for the formation of non-rectangular tanks. Some of the slabs may be apertured for drainage.
