1467865 Oxidation/ammoxidation catalysts BASF AG 25 July 1974 [27 July 1973] 32814/ 74 Addition to 1437235 Heading B1E [Also in Division C2] Various oxidation or ammoxidation catalysts within the formula Mo 12 Bi a Me<SP>1</SP> b Me<SP>2</SP> c Me<SP>3</SP> d Me<SP>4</SP> e Me<SP>5</SP> f Zn h O g in which Me<SP>1</SP> is In and/or La and/or Ga and/ or Al, Me<SP>2</SP> is Fe and/or Cu, Me<SP>3</SP> is Ni and/or Co, Me<SP>4</SP> is one or more elements selected from P, B, As, Cr, V and W, Me<SP>5</SP> is one or more metals selected from Ta, Sm, Nb, Ag, Pb, Mn, Re, Sn, Ge, Mg, Ca, Sr, Be and Ba, a is from 0.1 to 6, b is from 0.005 to 3, c is from 0.1 to 8, d is from 0 to 16, e is from 0 to 6, f is from 0 to 3, g is from 36 to 102, and h is greater than zero, e.g. 0.1 to 10 are prepared conventionally by evaporating solutions of appropriate salts in the presence of carrier, e.g. silica sol, and calcining.
