1466520 Aryl perfluoro-alkyl ethers INST ORGAN KHIM AKAD NAUK UKRAIN SSR 31 Oct 1975 [1 Nov 1974] 45120/75 Heading C2C Aryl perfluoro-alkyl ethers of the general formula where R F =CF 3 or CF 2 OCF 3 , X=Br; R F = CF 2 OCF 3 , X=NO 2 are prepared by fluorinating aryl esters of perfluoro carboxylic acid of the general formula with sulphur tetrafluoride in autoclaves at a temperature of 20-100‹ C. in hydrogen fluoride solution with the concentration of the starting esters in hydrogen fluoride being 20-50%.
