1465760 Disintegrating practice projectile NEDERLANDSCHE WAPEN-EN MUNITIEFABKIEK DE KRUITHOORN BV 11 Sept 1974 [18 Sept 1973] 39645/74 Heading F3A A disintegrating practice projectile comprises a number of cores 7, 8, 9 of compressed metal powder enclosed within a shell 4 of synthetic plastics material; and filler plugs or dowels 14, 15 of compressed metal powder inserted in recesses or bores in the cores to fix the cores relatively to one another in the radial direction. The plugs or dowels may be integral with or separate from the cores. The base of the projectile houses a metal powder filling 10.
