1463731 Injection mould DEUTSCHE SPIEGELGLAS AG 4 Nov 1974 [2 Nov 1973] 47626/74 Heading B5A A mould (8) Fig. 1 (not shown), for casting a body of plastics material having an optical surface comprises a mould member 10 or 12 of injection moulded plastics material having a moulded surface of high optical quality. The mould members 10, 12 are made in an injection mould 9 comprising inserts 22, 24 of glassceramic each having a high optical quality surface facing the mould halves to be formed. The mould members 10, 12 may be made of a polyamide or polyethylene terephthalate. Injection is effected through a passage 13.
