Abstract

1462812 Retaining clip AMP Inc 4 Aug 1975 [29 Aug 1974] 32461/75 Heading H2E [Also in Divisions E1-E2] A retaining clip 30 for securing a printed circuit board 22 in an edge connector housing 10 is held in the housing by shoulders 42, 44, the pcb being held by prongs 38, 40 in holes 26. Each clip is inserted in an empty contact channel 14 and may be pulled out using pliers. The clips may be inserted in the housing before or after the pcb.
