1462628 Ethylene-vinyl acetate-isobutylene terpolymer NATIONAL DISTILLERS & CHEMICAL CORP 18 Dec 1973 43802/73 Heading C3P [Also in Division C5] A terpolymer of ethylene-vinyl acetate-isobutylene containing from 18 to 28% by weight vinyl acetate and from 0À5 to 3% by weight of isobutylene and having a melt index of at least 150 as determined by ASTM D-1238, the percentages being based on total terpolymer weight, may be prepared by copolymerizing the monomers in the presence of a free-radical catalyst at elevated temperature and pressure. The terpolymers may be dispersed in wax to give a hot melt coating composition.
