1461966 Fuel composition MAGYAR ASVANYOLAJ ES FOLDGAS KISERLETI INTEZET 16 Sept 1974 [18 Sept 1973] 40257/74 Heading C5G A fuel composition for internal combustion spark ignition engines comprises 6-30 wt.% of a mixture of one or more aliphatic C 4 monohydric alcohols and one or both of methyltert-butyl ether and ethyl-tert. butyl ether and 70-94 wt.% hydrocarbon-based petrol boiling within the gasoline range, the weight proportion of C 4 alcohol to ether being 20:80-80:20. The aliphatic C 4 alcohol may be secondary butyl alcohol or tertiary butyl alcohol. Lead alkyl may be present in a quantity up to 0À5 g Pb/kg.
