1456016 Printing with flexible pads F MALKIN & CO Ltd 13 Nov 1973 [14 Nov 1972] 52461/72 Heading B6C In a printing apparatus for printing articles of ware a rubber or like flexible pad 28 having a raised or embossed design is alternately moved into contact with an inclined inked plate 46 and the article 16. The inked plate may be a rotatable plate having a stationary doctor as shown in Fig. 1, or may be a fixed plate with doctor blades reciprocated across its surface.
