Abstract

1455633 Sewing machine VIRGINIO RIMOLDI & C SpA 4 April 1974 [13 April 1973] 14927/74 Heading D1G A looper thread take up comprises a cam formed by two cam discs 20 separated by a hub, the cam extending through a slot 32 in a plate 31 bearing thread guides 35, 36 and pivotable about a pin 28 to vary the effect of the cam on the looper thread 18. The nearness of the guides to the pin 28 reduces the timing error introduced by plate adjustment. An apertured plate extends between the cams and presents two fingers 39, 40 between which the thread passes.
