Abstract

1454792 Concentrating grape juice by reverse osmosis DE DANSKE SUKKERFABRIKKER AS 19 March 1974 [20 Feb 1973] 8189/73 Heading B1X Grape juice, for use in the production of wines, is concentrated by reverse osmosis. The juice may be pretreated by filtration and/or centrifugation. Pretreatment by pasteurisation and with enzyme pectase is also mentioned. The membrane used may have a higher permeability for organic acids than for sugars.
