Abstract

1454785 Pictures DIMENSION WELD INTERNATIONAL CORP 15 Oct 1973 [21 Feb 1973] 48524/73 Heading B6X A reproduction of an oil painting having the brush strokes reproduced thereon is formed by making a silicone rubber mould 6, Fig. 5, of the original oil painting, laying a print 9 of the original painting on a heated platen, overlaying said print with a transparent polyvinyl chloride sheet 10 and bonding said sheet to the print 9 whilst reproducing the brush strokes by pressing the sheet and print between the mould 6 and the platen 8. The reproduction 11, Fig. 6, is composed of a laminate in which the print 9 is bonded to the sheet 10 whose upper face is deformed in correspondance with the cavities of the mould 6.
