Abstract

1454692 Convertible vehicles T V C Ltd 23 May 1975 [6 March 1974] 10093/74 Heading B7B In a collapsible tent for providing sleeping accommodation on a vehicle roof in which a pair of rigid base parts 1, 2 are hinged together and wherein hoop sticks 13, 14, 15 support a canvas 12 having an access opening reached by a ladder 29 preferably adjustable in length, the pivotable base part 2 is reinforced by an integral member 19 of circular cross-section bolted thereto, and a pair of ring collars 25, 26 rotatably mounted about the member 19 are fixed one to each leg of the ladder 29. The collars 25, 26 are preferably split and spaced lugs projecting therefrom are received in corresponding tubular legs of the ladder.
