Abstract

1454275 Indicating apparatus CARL ZEISS JENA VEB 9 Nov 1973 [20 Nov 1972] 52032/73 Heading G1J A graduated plate for use in determining zenith and nadir points in surveying has coarse marginal scales 8 and corresponding fine scales 10, 11 which intersect at the centre of the plate. The plate de described is transparent and may be reversed, being slidable in a frame 4, 5, 6 having a removeable side 7. Mirror image numerals are provided for reading of the fine scales from both sides. The frame bears a further scale 24 for co-operation with a scale 20 on a bar 21 slidable on dovetails 13, 14 or 15, 16, the bar having point marking means 23 or a cursor 22. Illuminating means (not shown) is slidable on the keyways not used by the bar 21.
