Abstract

1451011 Tonic from Comfrey leaves; vinegar K HIROSAKI 14 May 1974 [14 Feb 1974] 21342/74 Heading C6E Comfrey leaves optionally with other plant leaves are extracted with refined wood vinegar, and the mixture is filtered and distilled to provide a tonic composition. The distillate may be used as such or absorbed on soft amorphous carbon powder to provide a beverage or solid food additive. The other leaves may be those of bamboo, garden radish and matrimony vine.
