Abstract
1450234 Detergent bleach composition KAO SOAP CO Ltd 26 April 1974 18373/74 Heading C5D A detergent bleach composition effective in washing coloured and white textiles without colour migration comprises (A) at least one surfactant, (B) an alkali metal percarbonate and (C) a polyethylene glycol having a molecular weight of at least 4000, a polyvinyl pyrrolidone, or a mixture thereof. (B) is present in quantities of 1 to 50% and (C) in an amount of 0À01 to 10 times the percarbonate (B). The molecular weight of the polyethylene glycol is preferably 4000 to 20,000 and that of the polyvinylpyrrolidone is preferably 40,000 to 360,000. The surfactant (A) may be anionic and/or nonionic. Optional ingredients are (D) inorganic and/or organic builders, e.g. sodium tripolyphosphate, sodium silicate and citrates; (E) detergent additives such as optical brightening agents, sodium sulphate and perfumes.
