1447580 α - Aminooxycarboxylic amides RICHTER GEDEON VEGYESZETI GYAR RT 20 Nov 1974 [29 Nov 1973] 50273/74 Heading C2C Novel compounds of formula wherein X stands for a C 1-7 alkylidene or isoalkylidene group having optionally one or more substituent(s) selected from the group consisting of an alkoxycarbonyl group, a phenyl group optionally having one or more halogen, hydroxy, amino, alkylamino, nitro or methoxy substituent(s) and an oxygen-containing heterocyclic group, e.g. furfuryl or nitrofurfuryl, R stands for hydrogen, benzyl group or a C 1-5 alkyl group, R<SP>1</SP> stands for hydrogen or a C 1-5 alkyl group, and Y stands for a cycloalkyl group or a phenyl group having optionally one or more halogen and/or methoxy substituent(s) are prepared either by reacting a compound X=O with a compound or a Schiff base of formula is reacted with an amine R<SP>1</SP>NHY and R<SP>11</SP> is H or phenyl substituted by NO 2 or halogen. N - [5 - Nitrofurfurylidene]aminooxyacetic acid pentachlorophenyl ester is prepared by reacting the acid and the phenol in the presence of N,N<SP>1</SP>-dicyclohexylcarbodiimide Pharmaceutical compositions in conventional forms for oral, rectal or parenteral administration and having tuberculostatic activity comprise an above novel compound and a carrier or diluent.
