Abstract

1447121 Chair shells PEL Ltd 7 Jan 1974 [23 Jan 1973] 3389/73 Heading A4J A one piece chair shell comprises a seat portion 10 connected to a backrest portion 11 by a vertically corrugated section 19 formed integrally with the seat and backrest portions. The shell may be of polypropylene or resin bonded glass fibre. Integral webs (23), Figs. 2 and 4 (not shown), may be provided on the underside of the seat portion. The shell may be attached to an underframe through spigots (9) formed on the underside of the seat portion.
