Abstract

1446195 Air filter ITT INDUSTRIES INC 24 Aug 1973 [29 Aug 1972] 40200/73 Heading BIT An air filter (e.g. for an I.C. engine) has a pleated paper element 2 sealed in a rectangular frame 1 which has a rim 4 shaped to seal the filter against a part of an enclosing housing 22. The housing has two rectangular "box sections" secured together by spring clips 23 and between which the filter is clamped and positioned by studs 13. The frame may be of thermoplastics material.
